August 14, 2022: TMES Parent Weekly

Greetings Families,

We hope that your family had a safe weekend. Below, you will find the events for the week. In addition, we missed our families at Conversations with the Principal last Friday. During the meeting, we had two visitors. Ben from The City of Chula Vista, Traffic Division, and Jose Cortez, CVESD Safety Manager. As a group, we walked and talked about safety. We need all families to drive safely.

August 1, 2022: Exit Gates & COVID Notification

Greetings TMES Families,

We hope that your family had a great weekend.

As a community, we ask that all families help to keep our school community safe. When the 8:45 a.m. bell rings, we ask that all families exit gate 705 by the blacktop. The front office gate is reserved for visitors coming in, Safety Patrol, and students that need a re-admittance slip to enter their assigned classroom. See the image below.

In addition, no vehicles are allowed to do drop off or pick up in the bus loop. See the image below.

Below, you will find the COVID-19 Community Notification.

July 29, 2022: Traffic & COVID Notification

Families,

We need your help. The safety of everyone is a priority. Please help our community by driving safety.

  1. Be kind to Safety Patrol and families arriving and departing from campus.
  2. Blocking traffic is not kind and creates unsafe conditions.
  3. Park in the surrounding area, walk in, carpool, or drive safely. Stopping your vehicle in the middle of our driveway creates unsafe conditions for all involved.
  4. Leaving your car unattended to walk your child to the blacktop causes a community back up. Please park your vehicle.
  5. Dropping your child off in the parking lot and encouraging them to walk across cars alone in the reserved lot is unsafe.
  6. Questions about the traffic patterns, review the handbook, and look at the pictures below.
