Happy Monday Families,
We had a great Ultra Fun Run event last Friday. Thank you to all of the families that came out to support, smile, cheer, and encourage our Mustangs to try their very best. The Ultra Fun Run would not have happened without our amazing PTC. volunteers. Thank you to all families, especially, PTC!!!
When coming on campus during school hours, all visitors must have their I.D. and sign in at the front office. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe.

So far, 308 families have registered their child(ren) to participate in Ultra Fun Fun. We would like 100% Mustang participation. Please take a moment and register. Below, you will find more details on how to register.
The Ultra Fun Run will take place tomorrow.
Parents are welcome to come and watch their child(ren) run. All families must arrive before the assigned time, sign in via the Raptor system (bring your I.D.), and leave after their child(ren) participates. We encourage families to arrive at least 15 minutes before the run. After the run, all students will receive a fruit bar from PTC.
The proceeds from our fundraiser will help pay for technology, school clubs, family dance, supplies, and curriculum.

Today all you need to do is…
Step 1: First, visit www.ultrafunrun.com. Enter the Student Access Code GOMUSTANGS2022. Then, register your child for the Thurgood Marshall Elementary Bubble Run.
Step 2: Send out at least 5 pledge emails and texts through the student webpage.
We’ve attached a copy of the Prize Letter full of important registration information and prize opportunities. Marshall Prize Letter
We look forward to an incredible turnout and thank you for making a difference in the daily lives of our students.

Character and Academic Awards:
Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 9 a.m. for Primary and 10 a.m. for Upper.
Tomorrow, we will have our first in-person Character and Academic Awards Assembly since March of 2020. We are excited to celebrate our Mustangs in-person!!!
If your child will be celebrated tomorrow, please ensure that you arrive before the assigned awards time, sign in via the Raptor system, and proceed to the auditorium. Chairs will be available in the back of the auditorium for families.
