January 17, 2022: No School MLK Day

Happy MLK Day. Mustang students and staff will return on Tuesday, January 17, 2022, for a full day of instruction.

Help us prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our school community by screening your child before school each day. We ask your family to conduct health screenings for their child(ren) before leaving for school each morning. This could include checking your child’s temperature, assessing for symptoms consistent with COVID-19, and asking your child “do you feel well today?” Please do not send your child to school medicated with symptoms or with COVID-19 related symptoms. If you have any questions on if you should send your child to school, contact the front office. Below, you will find a list of symptoms:

Fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea.

Also, do not send your student to school if they have been identified as a close contact or have had possible exposure to a COVID-19 case and are awaiting COVID-19 test results. We want to keep staff and students safe and we need your help.

Ensure that you e-mail (marshallschool@cvesd.org) or call (619) 656-6252×550110 your child’s absence within 24 hours.

Questions regarding quarantine: If you have questions about quarantine (people who have been exposed to a positive person), please email Covtest4@cvesd.org
